Is your project eligible for a match funding grant?

We know your time is precious and we want to make sure you put forward a project that meets our eligibility criteria. Whether you’re trying to secure food bank grants, to raise money for a local baby bank, or fundraise for another community cause, please read our eligibility checklist before submitting an idea.

Typical eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be UK-based organisations (Charities, CIOs, CICs, CLGs, or CASCs) with an annual income under £2 million, operating for at least 12 months.
  • Applicants must be 18 or older, UK residents, and authorised representatives of their organisation with a UK bank account and a valid safeguarding policy (if relevant).
  • Each applicant could receive up to £50,000 per year in total, with a maximum of funding for three successful projects combined annually.
  • Applicants must demonstrate how their project supports financial resilience, either through existing services or new initiatives like financial advice or food provision.
  • Eligible applicants must come from community projects that are (but not limited to) food banks, baby banks, clothing banks, multibanks, community fridges, hygiene or period banks, uniform exchanges, soup kitchens or shelters.
