The purpose of the Palmers Brewery Community Fund is to support our local community and local charitable organisations that help keep West Dorset one of the best places to live, visit and explore.

You need a crowdfunding project to apply for funding. Start or continue adding your project and, if eligible, you'll be prompted to apply.

Criteria
Who is this fund for?

Organisations based in West Dorset and East Devon that are either:

  • Local charitable organisations
  • Registered charities
  • Not for profits

What projects is the fund looking to support?

  • help improve the local environment and public spaces
  • help provide care for those in need
  • support local schools and activities for young people
  • support sporting clubs and initiatives
  • support West Dorset’s vibrant local arts and culture

What funding is available

If your application is approved, you’ll receive extra funding of up to 50% towards your initial crowdfunding target, up to a maximum of £2,000.

Extra funding criteria

Your project needs to reach 100% of the target and at least 25 unique supporters to receive funding.

How to apply

You'll need to set up your crowdfunding campaign and apply through your project dashboard. We recommend applying to this fund at the start of your crowdfunding campaign.

Crowdfunder and Palmers Brewery reserves the right to vary these extra funding criteria; projects will be notified if their extra funding criteria will vary from the stated terms above.
