VIVID Plus Investment Vault: Empowering communities in and around VIVID's homes

Criteria

VIVID Plus is our charitable arm, set up to help communities thrive. Through our established partnerships with local authorities and other community-focused organisations, we're identifying projects that we can support in order to help them to grow and prosper.

VIVID Plus will choose to invest in projects that align with our main areas of focus which include:

• Improving personal safety through crime prevention and youth support
• Health interventions to improve life chances
• Growing economic opportunities through employment and job creation
• Promoting digital inclusion, alongside tackling homelessness
• Investing in neighbourhood improvements and reducing stigma around social housing.

Match funding pledges from VIVID plus will be considered for projects which can demonstrate the following criteria, based on our strategic priorities.

Projects must:

• Be within our areas of operation and benefit VIVID customers. Eligible locations include Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Surrey, West Sussex, Portsmouth & Southampton.
• Have full regard to equalities and diversity and be inclusive and accessible to everyone.
• Have strong local support, shown through a vibrant crowdfunding campaign.
• Improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
• Be shaped with local community feedback in mind.
• Encourage civic pride and cohesion in the community.
• Create volunteering and / or employment opportunities for local people.

Those projects receiving match funding from VIVID plus will be required to accept a contractual agreement, including reporting on outcomes achieved, minimising the risk of funding being misappropriated.

Where appropriate projects will be encouraged to coordinate efforts and resources to minimise duplication, increase the potential to success and maximise impact through collaboration opportunities.

If your application is approved, you’ll receive extra funding of up to 50% towards your initial crowdfunding target, up to a maximum of £2,000.

Your project needs to reach 100% of the target to receive funding.

You'll need to set up your crowdfunding campaign and apply through your project dashboard. We recommend applying to this fund at the start of your crowdfunding campaign.

Crowdfunder and VIVID Housing reserves the right to vary these extra funding criteria; projects will be notified if their extra funding criteria will vary from the stated terms above.
