Hands of Hope Foundation exists to empower service beneficiaries who are struggling with food and homelessness issues. People access our services for food provision including ethnic food, housing support & training, welfare advice and information.
The service helps people to build more confidence, protect dignity and improve people’s self-esteem. People gain more knowledge in dealing with their housing issues and what to look out for before renting.
The Organisation builds strong relationships and stronger communities in support of vulnerable people who are in desperate need of healthy food; housing support and welfare advice. Our initiatives benefit low-income households and individuals who are struggling with the increase in the cost of living.
Hands of Hope Foundation has intensified on the provision of general food and hygiene items including BME food and housing support to the people of Kent and Medway.
We have been providing food and housing support for nine years. We have great testimonials from our beneficiaries and feedback that they trust our service. The BME food project made a big difference to the black ethnic minority group who are vulnerable; we deliver to people who are not able to come out to get food and does not have enough money to purchase their local food which is expensive. We are aiming to provide food for 250 families during the festive period in December in order to prevent isolation.
