The Cause
At War Child we are driven by a single goal – ensuring a safe future for every child affected by war.
We work impartially and speak out to ensure child rights and international humanitarian law are upheld. Using our 30 years of experience and proven methodologies we help children recover from the physical and mental traumas of war, giving them hope once again.
War Child works in 14 different countries including Afghanistan, Gaza, Syria and the DRC to deliver access to long-term mental health support, provide protection for unaccompanied and orphaned children and restore a child’s right to an education.
We deliver this work based on need - to children we see in the news and those who don't make the headlines.
Time and time again we witness the astonishing transformation that can take place for a child and their family with the right support.
We will never give up on children affected by conflict.
