Dartmouth Triathlon

WHAT:

In a moment of madness I signed up to swim 1.5km in the cold English Channel, before hitting the Devon hills for a cool 40k on the bike and topping it off with a cheeky 10k for the Dartmouth Triathlon. I think it is only fair for the hours of monotonous training I am putting in, that I help you part with a little bit of your hard earned money to support those who are really suffering. 

WHY:

I asked myself this when I tried to train in sub 5 degree water in the middle January

In all seriousness I have chose UNICEF for the incredible work they do for children in need across the globe.

UNICEF are active in 190 countries providing support such as:

Nutrition and life-saving food

Education

Emergency relief for children

Protection from climate change

Water, sanitation and hygiene

Vaccines
