Jimi Hendrix

During his lifetime, Hendrix was awarded Billboard's 'Artist of the Year,' Rolling Stone's 'Performer of the Year,' and Disc & Music Echo's 'World Top Musician.' Posthumously, Jimi continues to be recognized for his global impact on music including being declared 'World's Greatest Guitarist' by Rolling Stone, awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and UK Music Hall Of Fame.

The Blue Vinyl campaign is a special re-release of 10 vinyl albums, pressed in UNICEF’s signature cyan blue. Blue Vinyl is raising money for UNICEF UK’s Children’s Emergency Fund for children affected by conflict and disaster.
The 48 limited edition blue vinyl copies of each of the 10 albums signal UNICEF’s ability to respond to an emergency affecting children wherever they are, whenever crisis hits, within 48 hours.
Each vinyl is individually numbered from 1 to 48 and adorned with a numbered holographic UNICEF edition sticker on the front.
